I have always had an intimate relationship with houseplants. I grew up with them in my nursery as a child, and they have continued to be a presence in my life since. When I made the choice to care for my own houseplants as a teenager, I thought it would simply be a hobby, or that the plants would die. When You Say Water

When contributing to groundwater pollution, we are not only hurting our resources, we are hurting ourselves. Humans need water to live, so we are locked into the hydrological cycle, playing just as big of a part in it as a lake or a stream. It is important to inform people about the things that we are unaware are polluting our water. (See More)

Plant Thinking

Plants are dismally overlooked members of our world. They are part of our everyday – helping us to breathe clean air, providing medicinal remedies and sustenance to animals. Once we acknowledge the importance of plant life, we can begin to consider the existence of higher plant thinking, and even a plant consciousness. Is it possible that plants and animals are more similar – scientifically and metaphysically – than we previously have been willing to consider? (See More)
